The Supermount80 has a telescoping mounting structure that allows you to install this unit so that the backboard is positioned anywhere between 8 and 10 feet from the wall. On regulation basketball courts the backboard protrudes 4 feet from the out of bounds baseline into the playing surface of the court so to make sure you are getting the correct unit measure the distance from your out of bounds baseline to the mounting wall and add 4 feet to that dimension, it the result is between 8 and 10 feet the Supermount80 will work for you. If the result was between 4 and 6 feet then select a Supermount46 and if the result was between 6 and 8 feet select the Supermount68. | ||||||
