System Description
The hide-a-bench is designed as a 9-21 foot unit, two tier seating system that will accommodate up to 20 adults per 15 foot bench. The aluminum bench shall fold downward from its attachment point and lock into an open position. When closed, it will lock into a 6 inch profile. It is intended to be permanently mounted to most flat surfaces by way of lag or anchor bolts. Wall material type and thickness shall be verified by owner or general contractor. All approvals and building permits are the responsibility of the owner.

Materials/Finishes
The bench is constructed of an all aluminum support structure, with a clear silver anodized finish. The seat and deck system are clear silver anodized aluminum, 6063-T6 alloy. Exposed ends are channel end capped, black anodized finish. Fasteners and connecting hardware are stainless steel.

Design Load
Seating shall be designed to support a live load of 120 pounds per square foot on seat and deck, with a horizontal sway force of 24 pounds per square foot as calculated by a registered engineer.
