Product Specification

1. WALL STRUCTURE - Construction shall be 100% fully welded. Entire wall mount structure shall be constructed of 2" square telescoping tubing. 1 ž" extensions shall fit inside the 2" tubes to allow infinite "wall-to-backboard" distances from (48"-72"SuperMount46), (72"-96"SuperMount68), (96"-120"SuperMount80). Telescoping tubes shall be set screwed, then drilled and bolted in place at final assembly. Wall structure shall be designed to accommodate either fan-shaped or rectangular backboards. All mounting brackets shall be no less than ź" thick and all hardware shall be grade 5 zinc plated. Structure shall be finished with black powder coat paint. Steel structure shall secure to (3) 2"x 8" wallboards made of Dense Southern Yellow Pine. Wallboards shall be routed on four sides and be covered with a clear coat sealant. Wallboards shall be attached to support wall with fasteners provided by installer. 800#, 3/16" proof chain shall extend down from top wallboard at a 45 degree angle to support steel structure. Chain tension will be made possible by means of a turnbuckle.

2. H-FRAME STRUCTURE - An H-Frame shall be provided with wall structure. The h-Frame shall be constructed of 1 ˝" square x 11 gauge tubing. H-Frame shall be 36" tall and provide mounting slots for industry standard 20"x35" mounting. H-Frame shall also include a faceplate no less than 3/16" thick, that allows for rim bolts to pass through backboard and into H-Frame to eliminate risk of backboard breakage when added weight is applied to the rim.

3. BACKBOARD - Constructed of 3/8" thick tempered glass with bright white fire impregnated ceramic screening. The framework shall be constructed from clear anodized aluminum "F" type extrusions. Overall backboard size shall be approximately 60" wide and 36" high.

4. GOAL DESIGN - Flexible type so as to absorb the stress of player contact. The rim shall be of institutional quality with an official 5/8" diameter ring. Ring opening diameter shall be the standard 18" I.D. Rim shall have an orange powder coated finish. Heavy-duty nylon net shall be provided.

5. WARRANTY - Entire system shall carry a Lifetime Limited Warranty. Shipping weight shall be approximately 435#.

Limited Warranty:

Covers any damage caused by normal basketball activity and normal player contact with the goal. "Normal basketball activity" and "Normal player contact" shall be described as any action that is necessary for participation in the game of basketball. Deliberate hanging on the rim, multiple player hanging, and vandalism are not covered under the Limited Warranty.
