The Supermount46 Advantage has a telescoping mounting structure that allows you to install this unit so that the backboard is positioned anywhere between 4 and 6 feet from the wall. On regulation basketball courts the backboard Advantagetrudes 4 feet from the out of bounds baseline into the playing surface of the court so to make sure you are getting the correct unit measure the distance from your out of bounds baseline to the mounting wall and add 4 feet to that dimension, it the resulting measurement is between 4 and 6 feet the Supermount46 will work for you.
