Safety belts are recommended on all backstops, especially those suspended over bleachers or playing areas. The Posilok™ Safety Belt is self-checking, automatically resets and is virtually fail-safe. The maximum weight of a suspended load is 1000 lbs. The Posilok Safety Belt checks the speed of the rotating reel six times per revolution and will instantly lock if the speed exceeds the trip point of 1-1/2 feet per second. Belt includes a maximum extension indicator and breakaway loop to indicate if the Posilok Safety Belt has been tripped. The Posilok Safety Belt has been cycle tested to 30 years of typical gymnasium usage with no significant wear or deterioration of the unit. Download Spec  File.
